For 2Life Communities and its first market-rate Life Plan Community, Opus Newton in Newton, MA, sales efficiencies and a robust sales experience were critical criteria for success. And success came quickly! When your sales team delivers results that allow construction to start an entire year in advance of their proforma goals, the windfall of that effort is quantified in millions of dollars in cost savings - not to mention the ability to fulfill the organization’s mission much more quickly.

After years of research and due diligence, the marketing and sales team was confident in the product/market fit for the community, focusing squarely on the middle market in this underserved area. Execution of the sales process to achieve the 70% mark in pre-sale deposits was the decisive milestone for project funding. With the sales center opening in late April of 2022, a major element to create that efficiency in the sales process hinged around the ability to properly tell the very comprehensive Opus Newton story. The 174-apartment building and its unique set of amenities that were designed to drive lifestyle and the care continuum were just a portion of the story. The building was being built within the Jewish Community Center in Newton and right beside an existing affordable retirement housing community called Coleman House, part of 2Life Communities.

Driving the experience to showcase the vision for the community, YourTour enabled sales counselors to engage prospects with an interactive map of the building and 3D visualizations to quickly facilitate understanding and decision-making. Sales counselors guided their prospective residents to make educated decisions and continually exceeded sales goal milestones. A major feature that the sales team used extensively is our Personalized Interactive Brochure for their prospects. The Opus Newton team created over 650 Personalized Interactive Brochures for their prospects! On March 6, 2023, less than a year after the team began their sales efforts, they were at the 95% pre-sold mark and broke ground on this project!

We’re excited to continue working with Opus Newton through their 27-month construction timeline to retain the depositors. Our efforts will further assist the Opus Newton team with the personalization of residence finishings through our strong collaboration with BlueFingerprint.
