TourGuide AI is an AI-powered chat assistant built by The Vectre and offered on senior-living community websites. This policy covers TourGuide AI and the personal brochure it produces. It does not cover the community's own website, which has its own privacy notice, and it does not cover our YourTour virtual tour product.

What we collect

To begin a tour, TourGuide AI asks for your first and last name and either an email address or a phone number; it does not start without them. As you use it we collect the messages you send, the interests and amenities you select, the amenities you save as favorites, and the community you are touring. If you are sent a personal brochure, we record which parts of it you open and how long you spend on them, linked to you.

What we work out from it

We analyze each message you send to determine its topic, what you are asking for and whether our reply helped. We also produce a short summary of your enquiry, suggested next steps, and a rating of how ready you are to be contacted.

Who we share it with

Everything above is shared with the community you are touring, including the word-for-word conversation, which is added to their customer-relationship system alongside your contact details. To generate replies we send your messages to our AI provider, Anthropic, and some questions to search providers to look up nearby places. We do not sell your information.

How long we keep it

We keep your conversation and your details indefinitely, so we can help you and so we can report on how well the assistant works. We do not set a deletion date.

Health information

Please do not share health or medical information in the chat. TourGuide AI is designed to detect it and leave it out of the saved conversation, but it is read by our AI provider in order to do so, so the safest course is not to send it.

Your choices

Your name and contact details are stored in your own web browser so we recognize you on your next visit; the "Not you?" link on the form clears them. You can ask us to delete your conversation and your details at any time by contacting us at support@thevectre.com. We will remove them from our systems. We cannot remove them from the community's own customer records — ask the community directly for that.
